Anchor Section

Age

Anchor Section is for children aged between 5 (reception) and 7 (year 2).  Please note that your child can only start Anchors at the beginning of the term in which they will be 5 years old.   When your child reaches the end of year 2 they will be promoted to Junior Section which runs on a Tuesday evening (see Junior Section).  They will also be invited to attend Junior Section after the May bank holiday as an introductory period then join the section in September as they begin Junior School.

Day and times

Anchor Section runs every Tuesday evening between 6.30pm – 7.30pm except during Christmas, Easter, summer holidays and half term breaks (these dates are confirmed throughout the year).

Uniform

The children are required to wear the correct uniform on Tuesday evenings which comprises of:

·         Black/grey school trousers (girls may wear grey/black school skirt)

·         Grey BB/GA T-shirt - please ask to order

·         Red BB/GA jumper - please ask to order

·         Black shoes
